The Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Adamawa State Council, has conveyed its heartfelt congratulations to Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, his administration, and the entire Muslim community in Adamawa State and beyond on the occasion of the 2024 Eid-ul-Maulud, marking the birth of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him).
In a statement jointly signed by NUJ Chairman Comrade Ishaka Donald Dedan and Secretary Fidelis Jocthan, the union emphasized the significance of this holy day, encouraging reflection on the Prophet’s life and teachings. The union urged Muslims to embody the Prophet’s virtues of compassion, love, and understanding, while also seeking his intercession through prayers.
The NUJ highlighted the importance of unity and forgiveness during this celebration and called for continuous prayers for the advancement of democracy in Adamawa State, especially under the leadership of Governor Fintiri.
