Bishop of Anglican Diocese of Yola has admonish Christians and Nigerians on fervent prayers for the peace and progress of the Nation.
Bishop Markus Ibrahim Anfani made the admonition in his sermon to mark the good Friday, signifies the commencement of Easter Period.
The Bishop explain that the Good Friday was in remembrance of the crucifixion of Jesus Christ to salvage mankind.
Bishop Anfani therefore advised Christians in the Nation and the Globe to replicate such love to mankind in prayers and love by restoring normalcy to the problems and challenges of insecurity bedeviling the nation.
The Anglican Bishop also called on the Christians on the season to honour their parents to obtain blessings as practice in the Bible.
NASFM news reporter, Dominic Yohanna who monitored the Good Friday in the Adamawa State capital reported that the day was characterized by Church services in various Churches.
The season would follow by Easter Sunday and Monday in the Christian calendar. INT:
