Chairman Demsa Local Government Area Hon.Wenakam Wesley Fwah, has inaugurated a Sixteen Man Committee to take charge of the distribution of relief materials across the entire local council.
While inaugurating the members of the committee the chairman charged them to map out strategy for the distribution of the items which sole aim was to mitigate the current economic hardship faced by the people of the area.
The members of the committee include Secretary of the local council who would serve as the committee chairman while Director Department of Agriculture is to serve as secretary of the committee.
Other members of the committee are drawn from religious organizations, NURTW,NULGE,NUT,Security agencies Health workers union among others.
In his acceptance speech the chairman of the committee Mr. Kanem Febel, thanked the council chairman for finding them worthy to serve and promised not to disappoint.
