The Catholic Bishop of Yola Diocese in collaboration with mission take heart Yola has empowered one hundred and fifty former children of internally displaced persons in various skills of businesses.
The Bishop, Dr. Stephen Dami Mamza encouraged them to start from the little items received to enrich themselves at their business ventures.
Bishop Stephen Dami Mamza had at the distribution of sewing machines and other equipment to the beneficiaries noted that the innovative was born out of psychological and spiritual activities to empower poor children of internally displaced persons on various business ventures.
The Bishop also congratulated the Beneficiaries of the gesture, encouraging them to transform their lives.
Bishop Stephen Dami Mamza also assured of more support to the children of internally displaced persons in Adamawa to feel a sense of belonging in the society.
He also advised them to be committed to what they have gotten from the items.
Some of the Beneficiaries thanked the Bishop and the Catholic Church of Yola Diocese for their support on their lives.
Bishop Stephen Dami Mamza also pledged to monitor the success stories on their business for more empowerment.
