The Adamawa State Government is starting the 2024 selection process for a scholarship program for outstanding female secondary school graduates who have achieved nine credits or more.
Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri announced this when he met with the parents of female students who had previously benefited from a similar scholarship program.
He emphasized his administration’s dedication to improving education in the state, particularly for girls, and highlighted the importance of educating girls.
Governor Fintiri said the scholarship program will now be ongoing, ensuring that all qualified students can benefit from it.
He also stressed that his administration is committed to providing equal educational opportunities for all students in Adamawa, regardless of gender.
Yakubu Inuwa, speaking on behalf of the parents, thanked the governor for helping their daughters continue their education.
