Adamawa State House of Assembly has passed into law the bill to establish the Adamawa State Information Technology Development Agency Law 2024 during Tuesday legislative proceedings.
The sponsor of the bill who is the Majority leader of the House and Member representing Demsa Constituency, Kate Raymond Mamuno moved a motion for third reading of the bill and seconded by Member representing Michika constituency Moses Yerima Zah.
The Speaker, Bathiya Wesley who presided over the sitting on Tuesday passed the bill after the third reading by the clerk of the House.
Mr. Bathiya Wesley also directed the clerk to provide for a clean copy for Governors’ Assent.
It could be recalled that Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri had earlier sent the bill to the Adamawa State House of Assembly for consideration and passage.
