The Adamawa State House of Assembly has received list of twenty three commissioner nominees from Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri for confirmation.
Those nominated include: Barrister Wali Yakubu, (Madagali) Dr. John Ishaya Dabari and Mary Augustina Vasumu( Michika), Hon. Usman Abdullahi(Mubi South),Tijjani Maksha (Maiha), Dr. Umar Garba Pella(Hong), Professor Fintiwa David Jatau(Gombi), Abdullahi Adamu Prame (Song).
Others are Mr Job Haggai Sama(Girei), Ibrahim Mijinyawa Yayaji(Yola North), Barrister Bello Hamman Diram(Yola South),Chief Felix Tangwami and Iliya James(Demsa),Ibrahim Haruna (Shelleng), Kallamu Musa Mohammed (Mayo Belwa), Adamu Atiku(Jada), Aloysius Babadoke(Jada).
Others include Emmanuel Biridimso(Toungo), Mrs. Nedo Geoffrey (Numan), Titus Solomon(Lamurde), Anthony Birina(Guyuk),Mohammed Sadiq(Ganye), Ayuba Audu Tanko(Mubi North).
The list of the nominees was submitted to the assembly by Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri for consideration and confirmation.
Governor Fintiri appealed to the assembly to consider and confirm the nominees in order to form members of his cabinet.
The list was read by the Speaker on the floor of the House by Bathiya Wesley while presiding over the plenary session and said that the date for screening will be communicated.
