National Association of Nigeria Nurses and Midwives in Adamawa State calls on Governor Fintiri to recruit and promote members.

The National Association of Nigeria Nurses and Midwives in Adamawa Stat has called on Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri for recruitment and promotions of members in the profession.

Comrade Ijabula Joseph Ijaida make the call while delivering a welcoming speech at the end of 2023 State Executive Council of the Association in Yola the Adamawa State Capital.

 

The meeting brought members of the sixteen units of the Nurse’s Association in Adamawa State.

In his address, Comrade Ijabula Joseph Ijaida commended Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri for doing a lot in the security of the working environment of Nurses,implementation of Consolidated Health Salary Structure (CONHESS) and compass to members as well as transformation of the Health Sector in the State.

Comrade Ijaida also mentioned shortage of Nurses, promotions, implementations, enhancement of salary structure for graduate Nurses as well as inclusion of Pensioners of the Union in new Salary structure among other things.

In an interview, Nurse Dilys Bello Madugu from the Specialist Hospital Unit commended the leadership style of Comrade Ijabula Joseph Ijaida and urged him to push for more recruitment of Nursing Personnel at the various Health services.

Also, the Unit chairman of the Association of Numan General Hospital, Nurse Prambe Williams urged the State Government to ensure more training of Health Workers in Adamawa State.

Others who spoke include, Nurse Kefas William from Modibbo Adama University Teaching Hospital Yola who commended the state chairman, the Chairman of the National Association of Nigeria Nurses and Midwives for transformative agendas to members within a shortest possible time.
