Kushi Hosts Media Gathering, Reinforces Governor Fintiri’s Dedication to Meeting Established Goals

Adamawa state government organized a first quarter of 2024 Media Parley with the aim to inform the public the activities of the government and seek to gain opinions for the collective delivery of governance which took place at the Command Guest house Yola.

In his speech at the event,the convener of the Media Parley, Principle Special Assistant to the Governor on Media and Communications, Mr. George Kushi drew attention to the administrative achievements by the Fintiri Led administration in the areas of ecological front,infrastructure, and human angle.

Adviser on Good Governance, Dr. Adamu Badikwe applauds the concept of the Parley,insisting that organizing the event in Indigenous language will have a greater impact on governance.

He said the current administration is doing more in its second tenure, as indicated by the progress witness so far.

In her remark, the Commissioner for Information and Communication and Strategy,Mrs Nedo G Kofulto emphasized on grassroot reportage among Media Practitioners in order to equipped the State Executive Council in approving direct and impactful interventions to the lives of People around the state entirely.

Kofulto equally expressed the readiness of the government to listen to suggestions from the public in order to develop Adamawa state.

Among the dignitaries at the Parley,Senior Special Adviser on Communications and Strategy, Dr John Demsa revealed that having methodologies require enable Adamawa government to gain peaceful development citing that the effort of the government to address issues of smuggling,Boko Haram felt out in Borno state and boarder criminalities is key to peaceful coexistence and economic growth.

Responding to journalists,the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Humwashi Wonosikou factually disagreed to the notion that the law banning cutting of trees for charcoal is not effective and without alternative to suffering of the masses disclosing the government in collaboration with Non government organisations established Practical centres to teach the use of materials to make charcoal known as Bricks.

Among the achievements recorded in the first quarter of 2024 by the Fintiri administration includes infrastructure,maternal infants,few tro mentioned.
