Hamma Bachama Dr. Daniel Shaga Ismaila has encouraged people of his Chiefdom to aspire for peace in their various communities.
The traditional ruler disclosed this at the end of the 4th Kwete annual wrestling festival held in Lamurde local government area.
His Royal Majesty the Hamma Bachama, Dr Daniel Shaga Ismaila said the festival was the continuation of the tradition of forefathers of Bachama land to appreciate God for the bountiful harvest and the rainy season last year.
According to him, his reign on the throne would ensure welfare and security of the people of the Bachama Chiefdom.
Dr. Daniel Shaga Ismaila also acknowledged the effort of the security operatives in all strata for their contributions to continuing peace in Bachama Land.
The royal father also called on the people of his Chiefdom to yearn for peaceful coexistence, warning that violators of the law would not go unpunished.
Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, represented by his Deputy Governor Professor Kaletapwa George Farauta congratulated the Hamma Bachama Dr Daniel Shaga Ismaila for the success of this year’s Kwete annual wrestling festival.
The Governor also called on Youths to embrace Development at all times assuring that government is working on continuing Peace in Adamawa State.
Highlights of the festival was the wrestling competition from the surrounding communities and Goodwill messages from various District Heads in the chiefdom.
