In his effort to ensure quality health services to people of Adamawa state, Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri suspended activities of unaccredited or documented private health institutions across Adamawa state.
Speaking to newsmen after the meeting with Heads of Tertiary Institutions in Adamawa. The governor disclosed that the development is aimed at better services to the masses.
Therefore, the College of Health Technology in Mubi will now be transferred to Michika as a designated location for optimal performance.
In a similar vein,institutions to include; College of Legal studies and others will henceforth be answerable to Ministries of designated professions.
In the end,Governor Ahmadu Fintiri announced a high powered panel will be establish to overhaul College of Agric Ganye for optimal delivery.
Government House correspondent Zakariyya Aliyu Gwaram observed that top government functionaries were present during the interactions.
