Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri of Adamawa State has reaffirmed the state’s commitment to mitigating the prevailing economic difficulties experienced by its citizens.
This assurance was given during a meeting with the leaders of the State Muslim Council who visited the Government House in Yola to extend their congratulations following his Supreme Court victory.
Acknowledging the economic challenges that residents are enduring, Governor Fintiri promised that his government will persist in implementing measures to alleviate these burdens.
Malam Gambo Jika, the Chairman of the State Muslim Council, commenced his address by congratulating Governor Fintiri on his legal triumph, urging the state’s populace to back the governor.
He expressed gratitude to the governor for enhancing peace and security, as well as for the significant progress made under his leadership, and encouraged him to continue these efforts.
Additionally, he appealed for the government to assist dry season farmers and to introduce solutions to combat the surge in commodity prices and other economic difficulties.
