His Royal Highness, Gangwari Ganye, Alhaji Umaru Adamu Sanda urges his subjects to support government’s efforts in ensuring peace and unity in the area.
Gangwari makes the call in an interview at his Palace in Ganye with our reporters, Bilyaminu Gambo Kong-kol and Muhammad Bello Liman.
According to the traditional ruler, the need to live peacefully is sacrosanct.
Alhaji Umaru Sanda commends federal and state governments for fighting insecurity in the state.
He adds that relevant bodies are working tirelessly in the maintainance of peace and unity.
He, however, explains that Ganye chiefdom is facing kidnapping and cattle rustling which is fueled by the two mountains across Taraba and Cameroun borders.
While commending his subjects for good character and conduct, Gangwari seeks for proper funding, and enough security personnel.
He, therefore, calls on Nigerians to obtain their PVCs in order to exercise their franchise.
