ADHA appoints news Majority Leader

The Adamawa State House of Assembly has appointed the Member representing Gombi constituency Japhet Kefas, as the new Majority Leader.

Kefas replaced the former Majority Leader and Member representing Jada Mbulo constituency Hammantukur Yettisuri, who defected to the opposition New Nigeria Peoples Party.

The Speaker of the Assembly Aminu Iya Abbas announced the appointment of the Majority Leader while presiding over Tuesday resumed plenary session.

The Speaker however congratulated the new Majority Leader and wished him well while piloting his official duty.

Reacting over the appointment, the new Majority Leader, Japhet Kefas, thanked the Speaker and Honourable House for the appointment and promised to justify the confidence reposed in him.
