Nigeria Labour Congress in Adamawa has joined the national body nationwide indefinite strike.
The Congress Brief its members and monitor the situation in various Ministries, Department and Agencies in the State capital.
The Nigeria Labour Congress in Adamawa State took time and informed workers in various working places on the commencement of the strike across the country.
This, they say it’s not going to be business as usual to the defaulting workers as the industrial action persists to its second day.
The first vice chairman of the Nigeria Labour Congress, comrade Usman Babbada lead the compliance monitoring team to various establishments of Government across the State.
Shortly, the chairman of the Nigeria Labour Congress in Adamawa, Comrade Emmanuel Fashe received a briefing at the end of monitoring with satisfaction on compliance of workers in their respective working environment.
The chairman said the indefinite industrial action was a result of brutalization of national President of the Nigeria Labour Congress in Imo state.
Also speaking, the chairman Trade Union Congress, Comrade Dauda Adamu Ali pledge solidarity in the movement of the industrial action until the federal government do the needful.
As the industrial action continue, the NLC chapter in Adamawa State vows to continue monitoring the situation base on the directive from the national body.
