As the Adamawa State Division Semi final encounter between Dan Lawan Academy of Yola ended with victory against Golden Stars of Mubi.
A guest on Nas FM Yola popular sports programme “Fagen Wasanni” commmended efforts of the State Football Association FA,Nas FM, and the state government.
To appreciate the efforts,the facilitator of Dan Lawan Academy, Alh Sadiq Daware had while wishing Dan Lawan Academy reach the final of the state league,made a swift disclosure, to champion a visit to Adamawa state Governor, Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri in order to seek permission and provision of temporary pitch layout to construct temporary football stadium.
According to him,the move will consolidate provision of platform to harness the skills of the potential youths in the grassroot,especially if the project of revamping the state stadium will take time.
The guest was adamant they can attract partners to make the mission reality.
Nas FM sports pundit Zakariyya Aliyu Gwaram advice the State Ministry of Youths and Sport,as well the state government not to turn down the rare developmental opportunity.
In his contribution, co-presenter in the programme,Moh’d Bana opined that reviving State Sports Festival is another alternative to develop grassroots success.
Listeners who shared their thoughts on the programme agreed on more encouragement in funding sports activities across Adamawa state by stakeholders and wealthy individuals in order to develop sport to revenue generating sector in the state.
