The Governor of Adamawa State, Rt. Hon. Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, CON, has extended heartfelt congratulations to the Muslim Ummah on the occasion of Maulud, marking the birth of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him).
In a message delivered by his Chief Press Secretary, Humwashi Wonosikou, Governor Fintiri emphasized the importance of the occasion as a time for deep reflection and renewed commitment to the teachings of Islam.
He urged the faithful to uphold the values of peace, compassion, and unity, while avoiding actions that could threaten social harmony and human brotherhood.
“The commemoration of Maulud serves as a reminder for all of us to lead lives that positively impact humanity,” the Governor stated, encouraging people to embrace the principles and ethics embodied by the Prophet.
He called on Muslims to use this opportunity to strengthen their relationship with Allah and their fellow human beings.
Governor Fintiri also highlighted the need for prayers for Nigeria, particularly in the face of current economic challenges. He urged the people of Adamawa to remain supportive of the government’s efforts to improve their well-being.
“As a government, we remain committed to working tirelessly for the benefit of all Adamawa residents. Your continued support and understanding are crucial in navigating these challenging times,” he reassured.
The Governor concluded his message by calling on the Muslim community to reflect on the teachings of Prophet Muhammad and use the occasion to promote peace and harmony within the state and the nation at large.
