Fintiri’s N50 Million Donation,Speedboats Eases Borno Flood Crisis

The Adamawa State Government has extended a donation of N50 million and six speedboats to the victims of the recent floods in Borno State.

This was disclosed in statement signed by the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Humwashi Wonosikou.

Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri personally presented the relief materials during a visit to Maiduguri, where he met with Borno State Governor, Babagana Zulum.

Governor Fintiri expressed deep sorrow over the loss of lives and destruction of property caused by the floods, calling on the federal government to provide more substantial support to alleviate the situation.

He emphasized the need for swift action to prevent further damage to the affected communities.

In a show of solidarity, Governor Fintiri, alongside Governors Zulum and Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State, took a boat tour of the flooded areas to assess the situation firsthand and offer their sympathies to displaced residents.

Governor Fintiri was accompanied by the Secretary to the State Government, Awwal Tukur, members of the State Executive Council, and other associates during the visit.
