In there effort to fight poverty and ensure women are self reliant in the country the first lady of nigeria oluremi bola Ahmed tinubu under her Renewed Hope Innitiative RHI empowerment program has flagg off the disbursement of fifty thausand naira Recaptilization grant to one thausand women petty traders in the state
The event took place at the banquet hall government house yola targeting vulnurable and less priviledge in each 36 State of the contry.
In her speach the first lady of Oluremi Bola Ahmad Tinubu represented by the wife of the vice president Nana shettima explain that Thirty seven thausand women petty traders across the nation are to benefit from the One billion eight hundred and fiffty million naira simultaniously in the 36 State of the country.
She added that project is determined to drive economic resilience towards a better life of families.Adding that the government is aware of the challengies of small and medium petty trdaers are facing in the country to whome are the backbone of local business hence the need for the innitiation of the project.
Nana Shettima who is also the vice chairpeson of the renewed hope innitiative said economic empowement progrme ramain a core objrctives of the renewed hope innitiave and is considered deliverd betwen women and youth across the six geo political zones to support the economic reforms of president Bola Ahmed tinubu.
Mrs shettima while appriciating the state cordinators for and all parties involved in ensuring proper implemrntation of the programme commended the beneficeries for showing resilience in overcoming the country challengies to build there busineses urging them to maintain the tempo.
In her speach the first lady of adamawa Lami Ahmadu Fintiri hinted that the recaptilization grant distributed to the beneficiaries will go along way in enhancing there business thereby fostering economic growth in communities.
Hajiya lami who is also the state cordinator Renewed Hope Innitiative Adamawa while exressing joy and satisfation with the first lady renewed hope projects targeting vulnurable women in the state.
In a keynote adress the state governor Ahmadu umaru fintiri represented by the chief of staff government house yola said the purpose is highly comendable and is in line with the fintiries policies geared in empowering and bringing a brighter feature to women in the state urging the beneficeries to utilize it wisely
Benficeries from various local government in the state seprately appriciate the effort of thr renewed hope innitiative as well as Fresh air prolife empowerment foundation in reaching to them especially in this time of economic hardship.
