Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri was among sympathizers that attended the funeral prayer of Hajiya Habiba Danburam at Jimeta Central Mosque on Thursday.
Hajiya Habiba passed away Thursday morning at Munagu Clinic in Jimeta after an illness at the age of seventy five and left behind three children, and siblings.
The deceased was an elder sister to Doctor Aliyu Danburam, a close ally of Governor Umaru Fintiri and former Managing Director of Federal Centre, Yola,now Modibbo Adamawa University Teaching Hospital, Yola.
Extending his condolences to the bereaved family at the residence of Aliyu Danburam in Yola, Governor Umaru Fintiri described the death of Hajiya Habiba as a great loss for the state.
The Governor further said the deceased died at a time when her services are much dearly needed by the state towards guiding youths morally.
He prayed to Allah to grant the soul of the decease eternal rest and the family, the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss, noting that death is inevitable to every mortal.
Special prayers were offered for the repose of the soul of the deceased.
