During the 15th Ofala Festival in Yola, Adamawa State, Governor Rt. Hon. Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri expressed his administration’s dedication to fostering unity and peaceful coexistence among all communities. This statement was made at this year’s celebration of Eze Ndi Igbo 3, Adamawa state, hosted by His Royal Highness Igwe G.I Omenaka (Igwe Odumodu) at Capital School, Yola on Sunday.
The Governor highlighted that over the past five years, his government has prioritized peace, security, and development, benefiting people of all ethnicities and religions, especially in the field of education.
Governor Fintiri reiterated his administration’s commitment to reducing insecurity and advancing health and education, among other sectors, for the overall welfare of the state’s residents.
At the event, Dr. Steven Madwa, a close associate of Governor Fintiri, was honored with the Chieftaincy title of ‘Umeudo Ndi Igbo,’ the First, in Adamawa.
In his welcoming remarks, Adamawa Eze Ndi Igbo 3, Igwe G.I Omenaka, offered Kolanut as a mark of respect in Igbo tradition to Governor Fintiri.
He praised the Governor for ensuring that Igbos feel a sense of belonging in the state and assured him of their unwavering support and loyalty to his administration.
