2022 Quranic Recitation Competition in Yola North LG concluded

The Committee for the Qur’anic Recitation Competition 2022 in Yola North LGA of Adamawa State has on Saturday concluded the Competition with a call on the Students to become good ambassadors of Islam.

The event which held at FOMWAN in Jimeta had in attendance Islamic Clerics, Traditional rulers as well as Muslim ummah from Yola North and its environs.

While speaking at the event, the Chairman Yola North LGA of the State Nasiru HammanJoda encourages the winners to sustain the tempo while urging others Students to try as much as possible to partake in the next competition

Also contributing, member representing Yola North Constituency at the Adamawa State house of Assembly Hamidu Sajo Lekki advices the winners of the competition to be good ambassador of Islam by teaching the younger ones the knowledge they have acquired

The Coordinator of the competition Malam Muhammad Hayatu Imam said winners of the competition will represent the local Government at the state level of the competition which is schedule to take place in Toungo LGA of the State in November 2022.

According to him, winners of the Qur’anic recitation competition at the State level will be going forward to represent the state at the National level of the Competition schedule to take place in Zamfara State

Highlight of the events were the recitation of the Holy Quran and presentation of prizes among others.
