The Senior Special Assistant on Peace and Security to Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri of Adamawa State, Alhaji Ahmed Lawan, praised the state’s peace and development under the governor’s leadership.
He attributed the peace to extensive infrastructure projects, including road construction, and the governor’s educational support programs, such as paying WAEC and NECO fees and providing scholarships.
He also highlighted the success of the PAWECA program, which benefits youths, women, and the less privileged.
Alhaji Lawan urged parents, guardians, and religious leaders to discourage participation in a proposed national protest, warning that it could be exploited by troublemakers to disrupt the state’s peace.
He also appealed to the unknown organizers to reconsider their plans to maintain the current harmony in Adamawa State.
