Adamawa State Governor, Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri has officially approved the establishment of the State Christian Pilgrims Welfare Board.
This was contained in a Press release issued by the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Humwashi Wonosikou.
The Board, aimed at overseeing the welfare of Christian pilgrims in the state, will be led by Geofrey Garba as the Executive Secretary.
The appointed members of the Board include: Rt. Rev. Theophilus Shadrach – Chairman, Rev. Moses A. Luckson – Member,Rev. Fr. Anslemn Kachalla – Member, Rev. Bukar Lala – Member
Others are Rev. Pius Usman Ayuba as Representative, Southern Zone,Pastor Alfred Enoch Sunama – Representative, Central Zone Rev. Father Sixtus Wuylshiri – Representative, Northern Zone, among others.
Governor Fintiri expressed his best wishes to the board members, urging them to conduct their duties with integrity and reverence, reflective of their roles as ordained ministers.
The board is expected to be formally inaugurated soon.
