Muslim Faithful’s have been advised not to only give priority to practicing what is right, but also to abstain from all forms of wrongdoings.
An Islamic Scholar, Sheikh Falalu Magaji Zarewa, stated this at the Ramadan lecture organized by Ibbi Mosque Youths Committee, Shagari Phase I, Yola on Tuesday.
Sheikh Zarewa explained that it is Islamically unethical to obey only some verses of the Holy Quran and abuse other verses.
The Cleric also emphasized the need for Muslims utilize the last ten days of Ramadan effectively by observing prayers, reading Quran, and helping the needy.
According to him, it is obligatory for Muslims to have voters cards and to vote for credible candidates.
Sheikh Zarewa, therefore, cautioned politicians to desist from destructive criticism.
