Adamawa State Governor, Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri CON, has been nominated for the prestigious Infrastructure Development Award for the second consecutive year. This notable recognition underscores his significant contributions to transforming the infrastructure landscape of Adamawa State.
The award, presented by The Best Strategic Media in collaboration with the Office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, celebrates exceptional leaders dedicated to enhancing infrastructure and improving the lives of their citizens. Governor Fintiri’s nomination highlights his administration’s relentless efforts to upgrade critical sectors such as roads, bridges, healthcare, education, and water supply.
“This nomination is a testament to our hard work and vision for Adamawa State,” Governor Fintiri remarked, expressing gratitude for the recognition. He dedicated the nomination to the people of Adamawa State, describing it as a “perfect Sallah present” and reaffirmed his commitment to ongoing infrastructure development. “We are determined to leave no stone unturned in our quest to transform Adamawa State into a model for infrastructure development in Nigeria,” he added.
Governor Fintiri first received this honor during the tenure of former President Muhammadu Buhari, marking a period of unprecedented growth and development in the state. The upcoming award ceremony, set to take place on Saturday, July 6th, at the State House in Abuja, will be presided over by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
Humwashi Wonosikou, the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, announced the nomination on June 17, 2024, reflecting the administration’s continuous drive towards infrastructural excellence and its positive impact on the state’s development.
