The European Union Rule of Law and Anti-Corruption has equipped Journalists in Adamawa on the use of legal terminologies.
A resource Person, Barrister Abdulrahman Iliyasu emphasized the need for Journalists to have the understanding of legal terms used during court proceedings.
He encouraged the participants to read the manual given to them.
On her part, the Adamawa State Cordinator of RoLAC, Barrister Hapsat Abdullahi said the Justice Sector Reforms Team consists of Police, FIDA, Media, NBA, Civil Society Organizations and Attorney General of the state, Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps as well as host of other stakeholders to proffer solutions to problems facing the administration of justice in the state.
In his remarks, the chairman of the Justice Sector Reform Team and Solicitor General of Adamawa State, Samuel Yaumande, represented by a Member of the team, Mr Zare Baba explained that since inception, the reform is yielding positive results.
The workshop was partnered by Adamawa state Justice Sector Reforms Team and British Council.
