National Cash Transfer Offic has trained over two-hundred facilitators in Adamawa State.
The trainees are to enroll the beneficiaries of the programme across the twenty one local government areas of the State.
The National Cash Transfer Office Organized the programme under the Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Alleviation for household uplifting programme.
The training was in collaboration with Adamawa State Cash Transfer Unit to train participants for enrollment.
In her address, the head of the Adamawa Unit, Mrs. Mary Yuwadi said over two-hundred and one thousand would be captured in the enrollment programme across the twenty One local government areas.
According to Yuwadi the facilitators are to collaborate with community leaders and stakeholders in their various places of assignment for sensitisation and advocacy on the inclusion of the programme.
Mrs. Yuwadi also commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri of Adamawa State for implementation and support of the programme to reduce the hardships of the ongoing economic reforms in the country.
One of the resource persons at the training, Patience Waviche John who Doubled as the training and communication officer of state cash transfer Unit said the programme had since it’s onset in 2016 considered poor and vulnerable once as beneficiaries.
The trainees include, Aishatu Bamanga from Song and Donald Stephen Wadala from Modire in Girei local government area on their part, pleading to stepdown experience at their various locations of Assign duties.
Those who successfully enrolled would go home with twenty five thousand naira each for the period of three months.
