World Malaria Day Adamawa state 2022: Health Practioners speaks in Yola

Health practitioners in Yola, Adamawa State capital have advised people to join hand together in addressing the scourge of infectious disease in the society.

The practitioners gave the advised in an interview with NASFM news on the sideline of marking world Malaria day set-aside by the United Nations with a view of creating awareness on the severity of the disease.

Gubi noted that malaria disease is severe among the people hence the need by the people for taking precautionary measures.

On his part, the State chairman of National Association of Nigeria Nurses and Midwives Adamawa State, Comrade Ijabula Ijaida called on the people to avoid self-medication while treating malaria cases.

Nurse Ijaida also called on government to ensure adequate supply of drugs across the health facilities in the State and the country to avoid destruction of malaria which has been described as common disease in the present society.
