The Founder NAS FM Yola and Mubi who doubles as Sarkin Gabas Adamawa, Dr Mahmud Halilu Ahmed mni, has applauded electorates in Yola, Adamawa State Capital, for conducting themselves in a peaceful manner during the just concluded elections.
The Wakilin Yamman Pindiga, made the commendation shortly after exercising his franchise at his polling unit in Yola South LGA Adamawa State.
Dr Mahmud Modi Halilu Ahmed Mni, who said the voting process went on smoothly without hitches as electorates were able to cast their votes, also expressed satisfaction with the entire exercise.
According to him, there were minor challenges at the Northern zone.
He commended the federal government, electoral body for using BVAS Machine, while expecting more improvement in the next elections
This, he said will help in ending all forms of rigging during elections.
Also speaking Abdullahi Abubakar, described the exercise as peaceful, orderly and commended the electoral body and the security agencies for working towards ensuring a peaceful and credible election.
