The All Progressive Congress in Adamawa state has described the recent defections of House of Assembly members from People Democratic Party to its fold as it preparedness to win 2023 elections.
In an interview with NAS FM Yola, Mustapha Atiku Ribadu, the state organizing secretary and Muhammed Abdullahi, the state Publicity Secretary said the defection of Member representing Michika at the State House of Assembly to APC signals more members of the house are ready to join APC.
The party officials maintained that there were no Local Government elections in the state as the Governor was afraid to face the electorates.
They called on the party faithful to be law abiding citizens in their fight to salvage the state.
Efforts to get PDP officials to comment on the matter proved abortive.
