ederal Medical Center Yola, has presented a monthly and annually award of excellence to the most performed Nurses at the hospital with the aim to encourage them to perform well in their duties.
The award presentation was conducted at the hospital premises.
It is the culture of the Federal Medical Center Yola, each Month and annually to present awards of excellence to the nurses that excel in their various wards.
On this this year’s award Female medical ward and Special care baby unit respectively are the first and second position respectively.
The chairman of the assessment committee Dr. Sajo jidda, says its time to celebrate nurses because they’re very special in the health care sector.
Dr. Sajo said the award was base on the recipients best performance.
He congratulates the awardees and urge them to put more effort into their duties.
The Medical Director Federal Medical Center Yola, Professor Auwal Mohammed Abubakar, represented by Dr. Ahmad Usman Baba, appreciated the staffs of the Federal Medical Center Yola, for giving him support and congratulate the awardees.
Among the recipients, Mrs Ruth Policab and Elizabeth Afred experience their happiness says the award will boost their moral at work.
They also appreciate the manager of the hospital for finding them worthy.
