Crop Scientists in Modibbo Adama University Yola proper solution to Famine next year

Crop scientist at the Modibbo Adama University Yola, Dr. Mahmud Yahaya Jada has advocated for government and authorities to take serious action on supporting farmers for irrigation farming.

Dr. Jada who was the head of department crop protection, faculty of Agriculture stated this in an interview with NASFM news.

According to him the after-math of flood incident has cause serious loses in the farming communities which there is tendency of hunger strike in the coming year.

The Modibbo Adama University’s head of Department also noted that assistance and encouragement of authorities and government to dry season farming would determine the situation to prevent food inflation.

In this interview, NASFM’s reporter started by asking Dr. Mahmud Yahaya Jada on measures to be taken by the Authorities on the possible hunger next year as a result of flood incident.

That was Dr. Mahmud Yahaya Jada of Modibbo Adama Department of Crop Protection, Faculty of Agriculture speaking on the possible ways to avert hunger next year.
