Federal High Court Sitting in Yola, Adamawa State capital has voided the All Progressive Congress Governorship Primary elections conducted on 26 and 27 may of this year.
By implication the party has no candidate in the coming 2023 general election in the gubernatorial seat of the State.

The Bond of contention in the court proceeding as ruled by Justice Abdul-aziz Anka are over-voting and vote buying that emerged at the process.
Others are Delegates from Lamurde local government area who were not part of the primary elections.
Ruling the case, Justice Abdul-aziz Anka described vote buying as a serious crime in electoral malpractices which should not be treated with levity.
He therefore declared the court decision to void the primaries which by implication the All Progressive Congress has no governorship candidate in the 2023 general elections and therefore ordered Senator Aishatu Dahiru Binani to stop parading herself as the gubernatorial candidate of the party.
But the Judge gave both the parties an opportunity to appeal the judgement.
Reacting counsel to first defendant, the All Progressive Congress Sule Abul promised to consult his client on the next line of action of the outcome of the judgement.
But Lawyer to Senator Aishatu Dahiru Binani, Tomi Ologunorisa, Senior Advocate of Nigeria that promised that the case would be appeal by his client within the stipulated time frame of two-weeks ahead.
On his part, counsel to the Independent National Electoral Commission and that of Mallam Nuhu Ribadu were not available at the court premises to spoke to Journalists on the decisions to the judgement.
